My Baby is 5 Months Old!

Well, time is flying by and it is already October! On September 24 Keegan turned 5 months old. I just want to freeze time and keep him just how he is. He is so much fun! Keegan laughs and smiles and now he pretends to be "shy" when we talk to him. His big eyes are full of excitement. I think he might be a little imp when he gets older. He is so chunky. We love to squeeze his thighs and blow raspberries on his Buddha belly.

One of Keegan's newest tricks is blowing milk bubbles. I am attaching a picture of that. Do you like his milk mustache? He can entertain himself almost all day by blowing bubbles of milk. He also love to jump in his jumparoo and makes funny faces on purpose. What a character!

We feel blessed beyond measure to have Keegan in our family. We knew we'd love our baby, but no one can describe how much until you experience it for yourself. Every day I am amazed by how fun he is and how even when he's being a total stinker, he's still adorable.

We are still here in Dallas and waiting for the cooler fall weather and the colors. I do love when the leaves change here. I like Lewisville as a place to live. It's so family oriented and most people are really friendly. It's actually normal here for someone our age to be married and have kids. It's kind of weird here if you're not married yet.

I am the Laurel advisor in our ward and enjoy the young women. It's been fun getting to know them. I feel young again hearing all of the high school drama. (However, I would not want to repeat those years...!) Last weekend we went out to the Lewisville High School football game with our friends the Marshalls and Doolins to support the Fighting Farmers!! You know, in Texas high school football is a BIG deal. (Ever seen Friday Night Lights???)

Little Tank is napping and I'd better get some work done while he's asleep. I'd like to just keep blogging away. I'm going to post photos from our trip to Utah and our trip to Hot Springs, Arkansas from Labor Day weekend this week.

Check back for more updates!
